Full-Featured Version is Released! (BTD v.077)
Bacteria Tower Defense v0.77 is finally out! This is the first full-featured release which contains both the original (Basic) mode well as an Advanced mode which has the Fog of War, Creep Damage, and Situations features. There is also a Custom mode which lets you pick and choose which features you like to play with. Each mode can be played on Easy, Normal, Hard, or Random difficulty.
As requested, the original high scores tables for the previous versions before this release are still up and is connected to the Basic mode. The Advanced and Custom modes have brand new high score tables. Be the first to post a high score!
As usual, all comments and ideas are welcome!
Note: Updates to the in-game instructions will be made to explain the new features. The How To Play page on this site will also be updated in a bit.

I’m very much enjoying this game; addictive (which is bad for finals week), but enjoyable even though I keep getting my ass handed to me in Basic/Random.
I do have two suggestions thus far, though I’m not sure how hard these would be from a coding perspective. Both of them are based on the fact that the towers appear to pick a target to engage and stay on that target for some time.
1. If the antibiotic tower fires on a target - and while that “missile” (such a wrong word for abx!) is en route - if the target is destroyed by another tower, that “missile” vanishes from the map. Is there any way to allow the abx’s fire to follow through to where it was headed so that we at least get some splash damage out of it? This is particularly notable for long-range towers, such as the carbapenems, upgraded quinolones, etc.
2. Would it be possible to prioritize the towers’ target engagements so that the bacteria closest to reaching the other size of the maze are targeted first? I’ve lost many a life to bx that could’ve been torn to shreds had they been targeted instead of bx that weren’t even close to getting to the other side.
Thanks for putting this together and providing countless premedical/medical students and company some nerdy entertainment :]
